The Great interior design challenge is one of the interesting interior design show for beginners or budding designers to see how the contestants bring an entire design scheme tighter with the clients brief. They contestants have limited days to finish the project and they also have an individual design challenge in each episode to see what they can do a particular object or material. It’s amazing to see what they come up with.

NEXT IN FASHION
This is not an interior design show, it a fashion design show. But what is amazing about this show is that how the designers work with the brief and come up with such beautiful concepts. They then themselves construct beautiful, wearable clothes. We can learn a lot about the colour palate and materials from this show. Not to forget they have such talented contestants and the show is very fast paced.

BIG DREAMS SMALL SPACES
Renovate your garden with Monty Don! These series take you to the beautiful locations in England and to the kind of backyards, front yards and gardens we all have seen or might have. Here, Monty Don, advises and guides these home owners to transform their garden to the garden of their dreams. The owners carry out and document their work through a couple of months and finally reveal it the summer seasons. It’s amazing to see how something so basic can be turned into a themed garden. They show also shares the budget of each garden for you to understand what designs are achievable and what amount!

RESTAURANTS ON THE EDGE
This a recent series I have been watching on Netflix. These are the first commercial design shows that show how and why some restaurants and cafes need some TLC. And how it helps to boost the sales. They take you to amazing location all around the globe and there is a lot to learn in this show about various deign styles and schemes.

THE SORRY GIRLS
And finally, I’ve recently been hooked to this series, the sorry girls. These girls are amazing in the kind of designs they produce. They actually take you systematically through every process of design right from client meets, to designing and execution. They usually do short episodes of 30-40 mins showing their space transformations. They also do a lot of DIYs which look really clean and classy. They’ve got a lot to offer! Do check them out!
