BEGIN WITH A SOFT COLOUR PALLETE

Soft colour palettes are applied in a space to create a serene and relax environment; with a low saturation it creates a peaceful atmosphere. Soft colour such as soft green, beige and white create a calming effect on our minds and bodies in a space.

Tip: Painting your walls with a soft colour such as beige or warm white. It brights up the space by making it feel warmer, you can also use these colours in décor such as throws, rugs and cushions to create a soothing and natural feeling.

HARMONY IN YOUR DECOR ITEMS

Harmony through décor items in a space create a balance through the elements. By arranging pieces in a room, it needs to balance out with the colours, texture, style and theme. Having a repetition within the décor and furniture, creates a neat and harmonious atmosphere through the décor.

Tip: By having matching furniture and creating a flow through the arrangement of the furniture it creates an easy movement in the space. For the theme and style the texture which have similar pattern and coordinate with one another will have a better flow on the space.

USING NATURAL FINISHES AND TEXTURES

Using natural and organic textures has become popular in these recent years. The use of natural textures, such as wood, wool or stone materials adds warmth to the space as it connects you to nature through the interior space.

Tip: By adding a stone or wooden dining table in the kitchen, including a wool rug it can make the space feel cosy and welcoming.

Tip: By using diverse types of lighting like floor and table lamps, fairy lights and candles, they can enhance a warm radiance through the space which offers cosiness.
